The antistatic sleeve is used by experienced electronics technicians and
PC technicians to protect themselves from static charge
when working on a PC or other sensitive electrical appliances.
The cuff is strapped around the wrist and the crocodile clamp
is clamped to a grounded metal surface at the other end
of the spiral cord (e.g. radiators, etc.).
